The four-semester degree program “Master of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering” is offered at the Ilmenau University of Technology. This course is practice-research-oriented and provides combined knowledge of engineering and computer science. It is ideal for those who already hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, as they will deepen their knowledge. Participants will attend theoretical lectures such as Dynamic Process Optimizations, Fundamentals of Complex Information Technology Systems, Information Theory and Coding, as well as practical trainings, where they will be able to learn how to develop and design different hardware and software systems. In addition, students can take part in an internship program, and to choose between eight areas to specialize in. Career prospects for graduates are for example in Industrial control and measurement technology, Mobile and cognitive robotics, Medical technology, and many more.
