The ten-semester Diploma program “Mechanical Engineering” is provided at the Ilmenau University of Technology. It is research-oriented and is designed to provide in-depth engineering knowledge. The content of study includes theoretical subjects like Constructive Mechanical Engineering, Measuring and Sensor Technology, Production Engineering, and Thermo- and Fluid Dynamics, as well as seminars and practical trainings, where students will strengthen their professional skills and will gain solid methodological knowledge in the technological-constructive area. In addition, they have the opportunity to take part in an internship program.
