The three-semester double degree program “Master of Science in Mechatronics” is offered at the Ilmenau University of Technology. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering science, focusing on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. The study content includes theoretical subjects like Micro Electro Mechanical Systems, Control of Mechatronic Systems, Robotics, System Integration, Technical Biology, Thermal Transfer and seminars, where participants will learn how to create and design different systems, while also strengthening their soft and teamwork skills. In addition, they can choose between Mechatronic systems, Micro mechatronics, or Bio mechatronics to specialize in. After successfully completing this program, graduates can find their career opportunities in the field of Research and development, Project engineering, Sales and Service, Audio and video technology, and many more.
