The three-semester study program “Master of Science in Media Technology” provided at the Ilmenau University of Technology is taught both in English and German. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the media science, including how to create different processes, algorithms and products, and how to work with media content. They have the opportunity to choose between five areas to specialize in, as well as to take part in an internship program, for improving their professional knowledge. By attending subjects like Audio Coding, Video System Technology, and Multirate Signal Processing, participants will understand the media technology, computer science, and its production. Graduates of this course have wide range of career prospects in Film and television, Radio, Audio engineering, Consumer electronics, and more.
