The English-taught study program “Master of Science in Micro- and Nanotechnologies” provided at the Ilmenau University of Technology with duration of four-semesters. The aim of the course is to teach students the basics of engineering science, including development of materials, micro structural elements and microsystems. It is ideal for those who already have a Bachelor’s degree in similar field. The content of study includes theoretical lectures like Electronics Technology, Semiconductor devices, Materials of Micro- and Nanotechnologies, Nanotechnology, and Micro Technologies, as well as seminars, and practical exercises, where students will learn how to create and design micro- and nanotechnologies, and nanotechnical systems. Graduates of this program will be qualified for work in the field of technology, for example in Sensor technology, Measurement technology, Information electronics, Power engineering, and more.
