The study program “Master of Science in Optical System Technology/Optronics” provided at the Ilmenau University of Technology has a duration of three semesters. The course is research-oriented and provides knowledge of both engineering and information technology. Students will attend theoretical lectures like Optoelectronic Measuring and Sensor Technology, Light Measurement Technology and Sensor Technology, Digital Signal Processing, Color and Colorimetry, and seminars, where they will learn more about the electromagnetic waves, as well as transmission and measurement of light.
