The three-semester double degree program “Master of Science in Technical Cybernetics and Systems Theory” is provided at the Ilmenau University of Technology. This course is ideal for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree in similar area, it is research-oriented, providing knowledge of engineering and mathematics, including acquisition of advanced systems engineering and systems theory. Participants will learn more about the description, analysis, and control of different dynamic processes. The study plan includes theoretical subjects such as System Theory, Differential Equations, Non-linear Control Systems, and Dynamic Process Optimization, as well as seminars and practical exercises, for improving students’ knowledge. In addition, they can choose between five areas to specialize in. Graduates of the program have wide range of career opportunities in Automation, control and process technology, Automotive and traffic engineering, Traffic planning and logistics, consulting, banks, and many more.
