The “Master of Science in Technical Physics” is a four-semester degree program offered at the Ilmenau University of Technology. It requires a Bachelor’s degree in similar area, and students will deepen their knowledge of physics and its methods, theories and laws, including how to develop and solve complex engineering and technical problems. This course is research-oriented, and the study plan includes seminars, practical exercises and theoretical lectures such as Applied Nuclear Physics, Energy Physics, Laser Physics, Solid State Physics, and Nanostructure Physics, where they will also improve their knowledge and soft skills. Participants have the opportunity to choose between five areas to specialize in. This program qualifies graduates for work in Environmental protection and energy, Science and technology management, and more.
