The “Bachelor of Arts in Director of Photography” degree at the International Filmschool Cologne is a program with a duration of seven semesters. It is focused on developing students’ skills in technology, design and production skills. The program teaches participants to develop their own visual style and while cooperating with students from other specializations, a professional perspective in filmmaking is forming. By including modules for personal skills training and professional career orientation in all semesters, participants gain experience in their future career. Every module in the course completes with an examination which is graded.
