The program “Bachelor of Arts in Directing” at the International Filmschool Cologne provides a full-time study course with a duration of seven semesters. Students gain experience in depth in every aspect of the process of interdisciplinary work in cooperation with all the other departments in the field of directing. Throughout the second year, the focus falls on project work, where students develop their own ideas, recognize their personal strengths and preferences and expand their creativity. The course aim is primarily oriented to discover, promote, and protect that particular personal world view and style of each student. All the semesters include modules for personal skills training and professional career orientation.
