The “Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering” is a dual bachelor study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences. It is a seven-semester educational program where one can combine study and work at the same time. The dual studies are created with maximum flexibility so that the students can choose to study at any of the 28 university locations across Germany or on the virtual campus. The course is primarily focused on the construction of structures, procurement, development, and supply of usable space. The participants are to be introduced to structural engineering, construction management, sustainable construction, building with existing structures, real estate management, and are expected to gain specific know-how, and to develop relevant soft skills. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career as civil engineers, urban and regional planners or energy consultants and managers.
