The “Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Media Education” distance learning study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences is a 36-month educational program offering 24/7 online exams, different time models, and the possibility to start at any time. The distance learning course offers also flexible full-time and part-time time models that suit any participant’s educational need. The course gives the students the opportunity to study completely independent as they are 100% online and 100% flexible. The course is primarily focused on the preparation for work with children and adolescents, older people, and people with disabilities. The participants are to be introduced to early childhood culture and media education, culture and media education in the school context, cultural and media education in the context of integration and migration, and culture and media education with adults. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career as media educators for the creation of e-learning materials, pedagogical employees or culture and media educators in schools.
