The “Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering: Mechanical Engineering” is a dual bachelor study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences. It is a seven-semester educational program where one can combine study and work at the same time. The dual studies are created with maximum flexibility so that the students can choose to study at any of the 28 university locations across Germany or on the virtual campus. The course is primarily focused on the foundations and the methodology of mechanical engineering, production management, company organization, and management accounting. The participants are also to be introduced to business administration, economics, internet-based methods, business law, etc. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career as product managers, quality managers or technical consultants.
