Description
The “Master of Arts in IT Management’’ study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences is a two-semester program, taking place at the campus of Bad Honnef, Berlin. The admission prerequisites for the program include Bachelor’s degree, completed TASC exam - for applicants with a 3 year bachelor, as well as a valid proof of English language skills. The course examines the interconnections between technology and management and introduces the participants to the IT sector, information security concepts, business processes and IT strategies. During the course, the students are expected to combine theory and practice, and mainly to develop methods for conceptual software programs as well as to implement IT services into different areas – department, technologies, people, etc. Some of the key subject in the program include IT Project Management, IT Governance and Compliance, Software Engineering – Basics and Principles, etc.
