The “Bachelor of Arts in Media Design” is a dual bachelor study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences. It is a seven-semester educational program where one can combine study and work at the same time. The dual studies are created with maximum flexibility so that the students can choose to study at any of the 28 university locations across Germany or on the virtual campus. The course is primarily focused on tools and strategies, web design, typography, and printing technologies. The participants are expected to gain knowledge on the main areas of media design, including print, online, mobile, photo, video, and presentation, as well as digital media production, communication and public relations. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career as user experience designers, media designers or art directors.
