The “Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy” distance learning study program offered by the International University of Applied Sciences is a 36-month educational program offering 24/7 online exams, different time models, and the possibility to start at any time. The distance learning course offers also flexible full-time and part-time time models that suit any participant’s educational need. The course gives the students the opportunity to study completely independent as they are 100% online and 100% flexible. It is primarily focused on the foundations of health market, health economics and quality management in health care. The participants are expected to develop different occupational therapy approaches, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and to gain knowledge on neurophysiology and pathophysiology, health economic, and political developments. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career as occupational therapists, heads of an occupational therapy practice or consultants for prevention and health promotion.
