The Jacobs University Bremen, founded in 2001, is a state-recognized English-language higher education institution with university status. It is privately funded by the Jacobs University gGmbH. Round about 1,200 students from 106 countries are enrolled at the Jacobs University Bremen in more than 20 study programs, The range of study programs includes two preparatory study programs, which prepare students for subsequent medical studies at German universities, 15 Bachelor degree programs, eight postgraduate study programs (Master, PhD), and one executive graduate program. The University’s educational portfolio covers the fields of engineering, natural science, humanities, and social sciences. Graduates of the Jacobs University Bremen receive a B.A., B. Sc., M.A., M.
