Description
The full-time degree “Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources” provided by Constructor University is with a duration of six semesters. Based on the foundation in chemistry, mathematics and physics the program combines the geoscience disciplines such as environmental science, oceanography and geology and uses the necessary key methodological tools and concepts from geophysics, geochemistry and geodata analysis with data management. The program has a modular structure and provides the opportunity for optional complementary courses from economics and management, biochemistry, cell biology and microbiology aiming to impart the comprehension and abilities to take on challenges and raise key research questions related to the scientific processing and analysis of large volumes of digital Earth data and pressing anthropogenic challenges to the natural environment. During the program, participants form a comprehensive understanding through the core modules of Environmental Science, Geochemistry of Igneous and Aqueous Systems, Earth Data Science, Oceanography, Mineral, Metal and Water Resources as well as Geophysical Remote Sensing.
