The “Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Technology” program at Jade University of Applied Sciences focuses on the development of new medical devices requires knowledge from the fields of electrical engineering, mechanics, engineering and natural sciences, computer science and medicine. Over the course of 8 semesters, students learn about the application of engineering principles and rules in the field of technology for diagnosis and therapy. Subjects like Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Devices, Medical Microtechnology, Microbiology and Hygiene, Medical Apparatus Applications and Robotics, Safety in Medicine and Medical Product Law, and more are taught. Admission requirements include a university entrance qualification and a pre-study internship.
