The “Bachelor of Science in Ship and Port Operations” program at Jade University of Applied Sciences is designed as a seasonal part-time course with regard to employees on board and is aimed, among other things, at former seafarers and inland waterway men in the so-called family phase. Over the course of 7 semesters, students learn Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Private Business Law, Introduction to scientific work, Ship and port operations, Transport Management, Environmental protection in ship and port operations and other subjects. Admission requirements include a university entrance qualification, vocational training and 3 years of professional activity, and English level B1.
