The “Bachelor of Science in Speech Therapy” program at Jade University of Applied Sciences is offered as an additive course, i.e. it builds on the previously completed speech therapy training. Over the course of 7 semesters, students benefit from the combination of scientific and methodological subjects with the two main focuses of aural rehabilitation and the technology-based procedures in speech therapy. The curriculum includes Occupational and human image, ethics in therapy, Introduction to scientific work, Medical, pedagogical, psychological and sociological basics, Statistics for Therapy Sciences, Audiometry and hearing systems, Evidence-Based Therapy and Practice, Aural Rehabilitation and more. University entrance qualification and completed training as a state-approved speech therapist are part of the admission requirements.
