“Master of Science in Biomedicine” is a four-semester degree program provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz.  By imparting the necessary specialist knowledge required for a scientifically-oriented career in the chosen subjects of biology and medicine the course provides to the participants the ability to process scientific results and communicate them appropriately in English. The aim of the course is to provide specialist knowledge in the field of biology with advanced comprehension in Biochemistry and bioinformatics the prospective students develop competence in both theory of internal medicine/pathophysiology as well as in various fields of theoretical medicine with a strong focus on the Immunology, Neurobiology and Neuroimmunology. In addition, the graduates gain experience in modern clinical diagnostic methods during the practical demonstration and form a strong understanding of medical problems.
