The study program “Bachelor of Science in Business Education” is offered by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz with a total length of six semesters. The course aim is to provide the students with well-founded specialist skills in the field of design, further development and management of school with extracurricular vocational training in the commercial and administrative area. The content consists of various specialist core areas such as economics and second subject with a high proportion of didactic, practical school and business education modules. Depending on the individual career perspective, the students have the opportunity to choose another major in addition to the compulsory economics component for instance in Management and Economics, Computer Science, German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, mathematics, sports, Protestant or Catholic religious studies, Social studies and law.
