The four-semester degree program „Master of Music in Church Music” is offered by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. By including subjects such as organ literature playing, stylistics, didactics organ literature playing, orchestra direction, choir direction and more the course aims to train church musicians with a master's degree in church music. Graduates of the master degree will be professionally prepared for inter-congregational tasks in the context of church music further education as well as in the artistic and organizational area.
