The six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Science in Economics” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The prospective students receive a solid academic education in the area of economics, which qualifies them for relevant careers. The integrative-oriented bachelor degree program combines a two-year general education in the basics and fundamental methods of economics with a one-year specialization phase in selected areas of business administration and economics. In addition to basic theory the program consists of a comprehensive empirical content where the participants are able to acquire both analytical and methodical skills along with strong practice-oriented and career-related skills. Specifically designed to develop the aforementioned skills, the graduates will be able to perform challenging management and specialist tasks with the ability to solve specific problems.
