The four-semester study course “Master of Arts in English Literature and Culture” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. It teaches advanced knowledge of the diverse manifestations of British society in literary, historical, political and cultural contexts and focuses on the cultural area of the British Isles and countries influenced by Great Britain. The interdisciplinary module offers students the opportunity to explore the traditions and diversifications of Anglophone literature, cultures and languages in more detail along with the "Research Workshop" module and courses in theory and methodology.
