Offered by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, the degree program “Master of Education in English” is with a total duration of four semesters. The modular-based and practice-oriented course includes teaching internships and educational science components. An integral part of the teacher training course is the extended stay abroad in an English-speaking country primarily oriented to expose the students to different cultures and enable to understand the complex social processes and interactions. The program imparts specialist teaching components and focus on practice as well as special focus on providing both intercultural and communication skills.
