The four-semester study course “Master of Science in Epidemiology” is offered by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. It teaches the students the advanced knowledge required for a more research-oriented career in epidemiological disciplines, as well as the ability to develop and communicate scientific results while the program examines the distribution and contributing factors of health-related conditions and events in the population and applies the knowledge in order to successfully manage health problems.The goal of the program is to confidently analyze health challenges on a national and international level, plan and conduct studies, and implement their results.
