Provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, the Diploma program “Fine Visual Arts” is with a total duration of nine semesters. It is primarily oriented to prepare students for the work of freelance artists throughout artistic classes and theoretical lectures. The class study is accompanied and supplemented by the support of the artistic workshops such as analog and digital photo laboratory, printmaking, painting technology, media laboratory, wood and metal workshop. Graduates will be able to specialize in freelance artistic activity such as independent studio works, galleries, art associations, universities, adult education, art therapy, museum education and more.
