With a six-semester total standard period of study, the program “Bachelor of Education in Geography” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The program is geared toward the central content of geographical thinking and research as well as their didactics. Students acquire strong technical and didactic basics, methods and knowledge of regional geography as well as skills in handling geographic media and data such as maps, aerial and satellite images, statistics, IT, specialist literature and more.
