With a duration of four semesters, the program “Master of Arts in German as a Foreign Language/German as a Second Language” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The aim of the course is to impart empirical, theoretical and practical-didactic aspects while the intercultural and interdisciplinary content aims to train the students for a wide range of activities in the field of foreign language-related adult education and cultural mediation. The program has a modular structure and also provides to the graduates the ability to independently carry out empirical investigations or to be able to work on practical tasks.
