“Bachelor of Education in History” is with a total duration of six semesters provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The study course is based on the studies of the individuals or social groups in their political, social, cultural, religious, geographical and economic spheres, historians strive to understand the basic patterns of human action. During their studies, historians acquire the ability to gain information independently and efficiently, to penetrate it analytically and to process it in a problem-oriented manner.  Graduates will be able to specialize in the classic professional fields of archives, museums and science, but also in public relations, management consulting, publishing, journalism and foundations.
