The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Language, Culture, Translation” is with a total length of six semesters. The prospective students have the opportunity to study languages with and without prior knowledge and obtain necessary competencies in the areas of translation, linguistics and cultural studies with a particular focus on translation. Graduates learn how to translate the texts in a way that is appropriate to the addressee and function.  The bachelor's degree is with modularized and flexible structure and enables a variety of combinations to be selected with compulsory modules such as “Cultural Studies”, “Linguistics” and the cross-lingual module “Translation Studies”.
