Description
The four-semester degree program “Master of Arts in Media Management” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The aim of the course is to qualify students as management trainees for all media companies and media-related institutions or for an academic career in media research and teaching. The students become familiar with the special features of the media and their markets in the fields of media management, management techniques as well as media research and practice and learn how to work on projects, how to present their own results and how to work in a team. Graduates will be able to specialize for various fields of activity such as newspaper and magazine publishers, radio stations, music, book publishers, internet companies, production companies, advertising, media and market research agencies as well as management consultancies focused on the media sector.
