Description

The four-semester degree program “Master of Arts in Slavic Studies/Eastern European Studies: Russian Studies” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. It provides participants with in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of Slavic languages, literatures and cultures while concentrating on Russian as a first language with a focus on Russian. In addition, there is a second Slavic language in which solid passive language skills are provided such as Polish, Czech, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian or Lithuanian, Latvian, and students study one of the three profiles “Philology”, “Literature and History” or “Linguistics“.
