With a duration of four semesters, the program “Master of Arts in Intercultural Romance Studies” is offered by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. During the course, the prospective students have the opportunity to select from a concentration in literature or linguistics in a Romance subject (French, Spanish or Italian) with a focus on interculturalism along with an element interdisciplinary and partly oriented toward the media. The already acquired knowledge in Romance Studies is enhanced with important practical skills in both fields of cultural and language transmission while the master degree program also provides to the participants expert knowledge and strong methodological skills.
