The study course “Master of Education in Russian” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz with a duration of four semesters in total. During the program, the prospective students have the opportunity to deepen their already obtained knowledge in the bachelor degree in Russian language, literature and geography, as well as the science of teaching Russian and master their language skills and comprehension for basic secondary fields such as the linguistics, literary studies, and cultural studies. The master degree professionally trains and provides the in-depth the modern linguistic situation of Russian from a historical linguistic viewpoint as well as the literature and culture of Russia.
