The program “Bachelor of Education in Social Studies” is provided by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz with a duration of six semesters. It provides solid knowledge of politics, political measures and policy fields, decision-making, decision-making and enforcement processes and also of both political ideologies and political-philosophical ideals. The bachelor comprises the six core areas domestic politics and political sociology, analysis and comparison of political systems, international relations, political theory, economics and society, and methods of empirical political research. Particular focus areas are electoral and party research while the students acquire knowledge and the skills required to systematically analyze.
