“Bachelor of Arts in History of Art’’ is a study program offered at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. This is a full-time course of study with a duration of six semesters. Here, students will learn about the different genres and forms of artistic creation within the period of Christian late antiquity to present days. The pieces of art that are studies are primarily paintings and sculptures as well as architecture, photography, film and video art. The curriculum comprises of subjects related to art history and a supplementary elective subject that can be chosen from eight possibilities such as Musicology, Pedagogy, Philosophy, etc.
