The four-semester degree program “Master of Science in Bioengineering’’ is provided by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Its main objective is to build-up on the competences that students have acquired through their Bachelor’s studies. What distinguishes this course is that is mainly focuses on process engineering in the context of industrial and engineer-driven biotechnological principles. The degree content consists of a compulsory module in Process and Systems Engineering, a compulsory elective module in an area of choice and two specialization subjects that can be again those from sixteen possibilities.
