Karlsruhe Institute of Technology is offering the degree program “Bachelor of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Major subject Chemistry’’. This is a full-time course of study with a duration of six semesters. Here, students acquire relevant specialist as well as subject-didactic knowledge in chemistry. Furthermore, the program allows participants to combine the core course of chemistry with another one in either Biology, Geography, Natural Science and Technology, Philosophy/Ethics, Physics and Sport, German or Computer Science. Graduates with a teacher degree will be able to teach chemistry in high schools, community schools and vocational schools.
