Description

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offers the teacher training program “Bachelor of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Major Subject Informatics’’. Within the course of six semesters, students acquire relevant technical and didactic knowledge in computer science. Participants also learn how to identify, analyse and explain information technology issues that might occur in different application contexts. Furthermore, the degree content allows students to combine courses in Informatics with other subjects such as Mathematics, German, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Sport, and others. After the completion of the course, graduates can continue with Master’s studies or jump straight to establishing a career as teachers in schools.
