The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Geoecology’’ is offered at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Its main objective is to impart scientific knowledge geoecology and the environmental issues that it brings. Students will deal with intensive scientific and research-oriented training in subjects like ecology, climatology, biogeography, soil science and geochemistry, and more. In addition to the theoretical courses, participants will also take part in an internship of at least six weeks. Graduates will have solid basic knowledge of environmental and natural sciences that can be further advanced with a Master’s degree. Alternatively, graduates can pursue a wide range of career opportunities in chemical and physical research laboratories, engineering offices, environmental authorities, and others.
