The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in German Literature’’ is offered at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. This is a full-time course of study with a duration of six semesters. Here, students will acquire knowledge as well as the right set of skills necessary to understand German culture and literature. The degree content offers two sub-areas, namely Medieval Studies (from the 8th to the 15th century) and Modern German Literary Studies (from the 15th century to present days). In addition, students will also have to choose one of seven subjects outside of the subjects related to German Studies.
