“Magister Artium in German Literature’’ is a four-semester degree program provided by Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The course is meant to build up on the knowledge and skills that students have already acquired through their Bachelor’s degree. Furthermore, by enrolling in this program, participants will develop the ability to work independently on scientific questions. As with the Bachelor’s course, the curriculum here offers a compulsory subject as well as three elective subjects. Depending on the personal focus chosen by each student, the career opportunities might vary. Some examples of possible professions include managerial positions in language and literature mediation, in the publishing industry, public companies, journalistic activities, work in editorial offices, and others.
