Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offers the study program “Bachelor of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Major subject Mathematics’’. This is a full-time course of study with a duration six semesters. The program imparts knowledge in relevant mathematical facts, problems, contents and methods. Students learn to develop and use mathematical models as well as to develop solution plans using problem-solving strategies. The degree content allows for a combination of subjects, which in turn offers students the opportunity to gain in-depth insights into other areas as well.
