Description

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offers the interdisciplinary degree program “Master of Science in Optics and Photonics’’. This full-time course of study is with a duration of four semesters. Taught entirely in English, the program imparts scientific and research-oriented knowledge in the fields of optics and photonics. Semester one and two are dedicated to introduction and immersion in to the studies, whereas the third semester is dedicated to a specialization in Photonic Materials & Devices, Quantum Optics & Spectroscopy, Biomedical Photonics, Optical Systems or Solar Energy. Students will also be required to complete an eight-week long industrial internship.
