Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offers the teacher program in “Bachelor of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Major Subject Physics’’. Within the course of six semesters, students learn about the basic concepts, modelling and approaches in physics. What is more, they also acquire specialist didactic knowledge that enables them to practice the teaching profession. The core course in physics can be combined with some of the following subjects: German, Geography, Natural Science and Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Philosophy/Ethics as well as Sport. After completing the course, graduates can work in schools as well as in foundations and associations, adult education, universities, and others.
