Karlsruhe Institute of Technology offers the study program in “Bachelor of Science in Physics’’. This is a full-time course of study with a duration of six semesters. It imparts fundamental scientific knowledge of experimental and theoretical physics. In addition, participants will also learn about programming and the use of computers. The curriculum allows them to choose a non-physical subject from the fields of Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Materials Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Meteorology or Economics. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates can pursue a Master’s degree or any of the career prospects on offers in university and industrial research and development, management consulting, the insurance industry or other similar fields.
