The study program “Master of Education in Secondary School Teaching, Complementary Subject Informatics’’ is offered at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. This four-semester course is an extension of the Master’s program and aims to impart advanced knowledge in the field of computer sciences. By enrolling in this course, students acquire a range of competences in data modelling and database systems, algorithm and data structures as well as programming and software technology. The curriculum is comprised of sixteen modules some of which are Algorithms, Software Engineering, Digital Technology and Design Process, Communication and Data Storage, etc. Furthermore, the curriculum features a project where students work in teams.
